Introduction and Properties

Tebuconazole, under the trade name Raxil, is a systemic fungicide from the triazole family with a protective, therapeutic and root-killing effect that is rapidly absorbed into the green parts of the plant and transported to other parts of the plant. The mode of action of this fungicide is to prevent the demethylation of steroids. Tebuconazole is also used for seed disinfection. The best results will be achieved when the poison is applied in the early stages of disease development. When using tebuconazole powder, the moisture content of wheat seeds should not exceed 12%. Avoid using this product on germinated, damaged, crushed seeds, and seeds with low germination capacity.
