Introduction and Properties
Spirotetramat, brand name Monto, is a systemic insecticide from the tetramic acid group that prevents the formation of fat in the body of insects and moves up and down the plant through the xylem and phloem after foliar application. This insecticide is used against important garden and vegetable pests, especially sucking insects in citrus, pistachio, fruit trees and vegetables in greenhouses and fields.
