Introduction and Properties
Penoxolam, with the trade name Rizlan, is a selective, post-emergent herbicide from the Triazolopyrimidine group used to control weeds in rice fields. This herbicide is absorbed through the leaves, stems, and roots and is systemic in the plant in the form of symplasts and apoplasts.
Instructions for use
Long-leaved weeds (soruf), broad-leaved and grasses in rice cultivation at a rate of 150 ml per hectare and in areas where rice fields are more contaminated with grasses, 175 ml per hectare.
