Tufordi + MCPA, with the trade name U46 Combifluid, is a hormonal, selective and systemic herbicide containing 360 grams of Tufordi and 315 grams of MCPA as ammonium salt per liter. This herbicide is used post-emergence to control broadleaf weeds in wheat and barley fields and is rapidly absorbed through the roots and leaves and transported throughout the plant. The way Tufordi + MCPA works is that its hormonal substance is absorbed by broadleaf weeds through the leaves and stems due to its systemic nature and is then transported to all parts of the weed. Tofordi + MCPA causes increased respiration and abnormal and rapid growth of weeds, which leads to depletion of nutrients in the plant and ultimately causes the weed to die.
