Introduction and Properties

Tribenuron methyl, under the trade name Granstar, is a selective herbicide from the sulfonylurea family that inhibits cell division by inhibiting the biosynthesis of the essential amino acids valine and isoleucine. The best time to use this herbicide is when weeds have two to four leaves.
The best time to use it is from the beginning to the end of wheat tillering.

Instructions for use

Broadleaf weeds in wheat fields at a rate of 20 to 20 grams per hectare when the grass has 2 to 4 leaves

Broadleaf weeds in barley fields at a rate of 10 to 20 grams per hectare when the grass has 2 to 4 leaves
