Introduction and Properties
Pyridaben, with the trade name Sunmite, is a non-systemic acaricide from the pyridazinone family with a knock-on effect and long-lasting effect, effective for all stages of development, especially larvae and pupae. This insecticide kills ticks by disrupting the electron transport chain in mitochondria and cellular respiration. This poison is effective and very effective on all stages of tick development from larvae and nymphs to adults.
