Introduction and Properties
Malathion is a non-systemic insecticide with contact, digestive, and respiratory effects and acaricidal properties from the organophosphate family. The ability of this poison is to inhibit the cholinesterase enzyme in the insect nervous system.

Fruitworm and date leafworm at a rate of 2.5 per thousand
Olive leafhopper at a rate of 2.5 per thousand
Citrus leafworm and aphids at a rate of 2 to 2.5 per thousand
Rose leafhopper at a rate of 2 per thousand
Pine leafhopper at a rate of 2 per thousand
Alfalfa leafhopper at a rate of 3 per thousand
Cherry fly at a rate of 1 to 2 per thousand
Tea mealybug at a rate of 2 per thousand
Whitefly and whitefly at a rate of 1 to 1.5 per thousand
Grain locust at a rate of 0.7 to 1.5 liters per hectare
