Introduction and Properties
Emamectin Benzoate + Lufenuron, with the trade name Proclim Fit UV, is a mixture of two strong insecticides that have contact and digestive effects and is considered the best tool for managing pest resistance to common insecticides. It is available in the form of water-soluble granules and contains 5% emamectin benzoate and 40% lufenuron. Emamectin benzoate is an insecticide from the avermectin group that blocks nerve signals. Lufenuron is also a hormonal insecticide and prevents chitin biosynthesis and actually prevents insect growth.
