Introduction and Properties
Kresoxim methyl, with the trade name Strobi, from the chemical group strobilurin, is a fungicide with a protective, curative and eradicating effect with a long-term maintenance effect in the control of target diseases that exerts its effect by preventing the germination of spores. This toxin destroys pathogenic fungi by stopping their transport in the mitochondria. Kresoxim methyl prevents the germination of spores and the formation of fungal hyphae in the early stages of growth by preventing the germination of fungal spores, thus it is effective in preventing the occurrence of fungal infection or disease. It also prevents the formation of fungal hyphae and spores three hours after foliar spraying and stops the infection.
