Pendimethalin, with the trade name Stamp, is a selective dinitroaniline herbicide that is absorbed through the roots and leaves and causes plant death shortly after germination or emergence from the soil. Broadleaf and narrowleaf weeds in rainfed lentil fields at a rate of 3-4.5 liters per hectare depending on the type of weed and the severity of the infestation.
