Introduction and Properties
Cyproconazole + Carbendazim, with the brand name Altocombi, is a systemic fungicide with protective, curative and eradicant effects, used to control Fusarium wilt in wheat and Sclerotinia wilt in rapeseed. This combination fungicide, which has preventive and curative effects, consists of two fungicides, cyproconazole (from the triazole group) and carbendazim (from the benzimidazole group). Cyproconazole inhibits fungal growth by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis, and carbendazim inhibits fungal cell division by inhibiting beta-tubulin synthesis.
