Introduction and Properties
Fenvalerate, under the trade name Sumicidin, is a non-systemic pyrethroid insecticide with contact and digestive effects and some acaricidal properties, controlling a wide range of pests of the orders of lepidoptera, coleoptera, and ornithopods in various crops such as cabbage, sugar beet, beans, peas, cotton, and fruit trees. Fenvalerate is effective on plant pests and is among the first synthetic pyrethroids to be used in agriculture due to its high insecticidal power and durability against sunlight. This compound has a rapid impact effect that is due to nerve inhibition and is positively correlated with temperature.
Instructions for use
Sugar beet prodonia at a rate of 1 liter per hectare as a foliar spray
Fruit tree round spot minnow at a rate of 0.5 per thousand as a foliar spray
