Introduction and Properties
Clodinafop propargyl, with the trade name Topic, is a selective, systemic herbicide from the aryloxyphenoxypropionate family that inhibits acetyl-coenzyme-A-carboxylase and inhibits the synthesis of fatty acids in cell membranes. This herbicide effectively controls a wide range of fine-leaf weeds in wheat crops. Clodinafop propargyl is absorbed through the leaves of weeds after application and stops the growth of sensitive weeds within 48 hours.
Instructions for use
Annual narrow-leaved weeds in wheat fields (wild oats, fescue, rye, foxtail and narrow foxtail) as a post-emergence treatment at a rate of 0.8 to 1 liter per hectare depending on the type of weed and its growth stage.
