Introduction and Properties
Bordeaux mixture, with the trade name Bordeaux Mixture, is a combination of two fungicides and a contact protective bactericide that is absorbed through the leaves and prevents the growth of spores. This fungicide-bactericide is recommended for the prevention and treatment of various diseases of pome and stone fruit trees, vegetables and summer crops, etc. Due to its very high adhesive properties, the Bordeaux mixture is more resistant to rain wash.
