Introduction and Properties

Abamectin, with the trade name Vertimax, is an insecticide and acaricide from the chemical group of avermectins that acts on gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors in the nervous system and is of microbial origin. This compound has a digestive and contact effect, has limited systemic activity and high toxicity. After spraying on the plant, it quickly penetrates into the leaves and can remain there for several weeks, and is absorbed by sucking insects when they feed. The amount of poison that is not absorbed by the plant is quickly decomposed. This poison is also of microbial origin.

Instructions for use

Vegetable and summer leafminer in the field at a rate of 0.6 liters per hectare

Citrus rust mite at a rate of 20 ml + 250 ml of Volk oil in 100 liters of water for one foliar spray.
